General Educational Objectives



A well-rounded educational experience in pediatrics and family medicine is essential if the observer/intern is to understand infants, children, adolescents, and adults in health and sickness, and to deal effectively with their physical, mental, emotional, and social problems. It is an excellent combined observership rotation highly in demand when applying for residency.

Expectations





Your Observership participation in our program will:


• Allow you to collaborate with physicians and medical staff, gaining insight into primary care and routine care in a clinical environment.


• Help improve your skills to observe physician interactions with patients (history taking, examination, diagnosis, treatment, coding, writing prescriptions, and entering information on the patient’s electronic chart, etc.).


• Develop your professional communication and interaction as you participate in urgent care and routine care consultations.



If a customized rotation is required, please advise when you send your request and we will do our best to achieve it. All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) The tuition fee can be paid.
